Our next HENP meeting will be at the Techs
in Paradise 2004 (Joint Techs) meeting. The goals for
this meeting are to cover a number of topics:
1) Results and reports from SC2003
2) Current status of HENP networking (Working networks and
details, near term plans)
3) Overlap/interaction with Astronomy: how can we best work
together to achieve our goals?
Related to the second point are a number of new elements
of HENP and R&E networks:
- Recent records and their effect on the perspective
for HENP networking
- UltraLight, Ultranet, Translight, etc.; Ultranet proposal
from Fermilab/Caltech
- Recent support for academic and research networking
in/to Netherlands, and Australia
- New DOE networking roadmap
